Good food and service

Terrible food and not a clean place

We went there for lunch today. After 10 minutes and no one even spoke to us, we decided to leave. Still not one word from anyone. We usually have pretty good service but not today. Place was not that busy either so in case you want to know.

Worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had in my life. Me and my girlfriend ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich and Biscuit, respectively. Food took 40 minutes.bread and Biscuit were cold. After we finished waited 10 minutes for a ticket, never got one. Went to the counter and waited another 10 minutes for check out and my ticket. Those simple items apparently cost me 23 dollars and some change. Gave them 30, and they had the audacity to give me back one dollar and some change. When I said some thing, then they give me the 5 dollars as well. I will never come back here. It was absolutely ridiculous.

Great breakfast great price, wonderful

Fantastic southern food. The waitress was friendly and the food was served hot and fast. They also serve breakfast. The breakfast menu looked very appetizing. I highly recommend this restaurant for a meat and three vegetable meal. Cornbread and rolls were served as well as dessert. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food served. I would definitely eat here again!

Good breakfast and 1/3rd less cost that most other restaurants. Two can have a good breakfast for $13.00

Never disappointed with there food and service. Friendly staff and wait not long and food is always hot. If you have never eaten there you should give it a try.

They charge a fee to use credit and debit cards. It cost us three dollars to use ours. Long wait. Slow moving wait staff. Food tasted as if it had been cooked in dirty cookware.

Loved it. Best food in town like momma used to make. Great comfort food made with care and love.

Awesome place

The only way your food is served fast is if they already know you, and you don't come IN FRONT OF one of their buddies or their favorite lawyer. I've had to wait needlessly for what was already made as I called in my order ahead of time...while I watched my plate NOT be served but rather them wait on their favorites. Go there at your own risk to wait forever. I've also been there with my best friend, and we would NOT BE WAITED ON while seated, but people that came in AFTER us would be waited on!

Food is home cooking and everyone is so nice.

Be prepared to wait for all their regulars and friends to be waited on first. I only go there because my parents like the food there. This is the second time i have observed them putting their friends or regulars in front of me when I was there first. I'll never go back. They have a lot to learn about customer service.

The food was good and the waitress was nice. We had not been there in a while except to occasionally call in our order and carry it home.

Her section is her name is Angie Littlefield and she one of the best waitress I ever had I want to say thank you Angie for the great service you have give us.I will be back and just tell me what side you have that day .thank you Angie.

Meat and three are great! Salmon Patties are best in town.

Small town meat and three diner. Menu changes daily. Great yeast rolls and good corn bread. Nice portions, not gut busters but plenty for lunch. Staff is attentive owner runs the register.

Excellent home cooking. Reasonably priced. We eat there regularly.😋friendly, knowledgeable staff. Speed of service ultimately depends on how busy you are, naturally going to take lil longer if it's crowded, but you still get waited on and served your food fairly quick. I've worked in food service since 1979 and I know how it should be, and Roy's is in the top 5.☺️👍always clean as well.

I only tried the soup that was very good. Not pricey at all. Only complaint was that we asked for a minute and the older woman gave us 20min. We had to call her over otherwise we might still be sitting there.

Quaint little place that has phenomenal home cooking. We enjoyed our breakfast with my dad. The owner came over and personally shook hands with my dad and husband ! The service was great !

great service for lunch not too great for breakfast

My first time here. The wait was about 15 minutes for 4 plates. Our food was fresh. The macaroni and cheese was very good. The resturant was clean and plenty of seating. However we never got a refill on our drinks. They only had one lady waiting tables at lunch. I was not impressed. The owner even looked at us and saw we needed drink refills. My father got a refill for me to go. My dad likes this place but he was dissatisfied with the service. New customers are paying customers we should have had as good of service as the return customers.

We have always enjoyed Roy's Diner for dinner and lunch, however we had not eaten breakfast there until about two weeks ago. My husband had the usual eggs, bacon, grits drinking water, he enjoyed his meal. I merely ordered a country ham biscuit and coffee, the ham biscuit was too hard to eat and I had to ask for toast to eat the ham on, with I did receive. I really like my coffee hot, I was never offered a refill and I had to get up and go to the counter to get a refill. I was totally disappointed. My husband's rating would be three whereas mine would be 1 minus.
